# Residential Landscape Maintenance

> Recurring yard maintenance for Las Vegas homes: rock bed care, shrub shaping, lawn care where you have grass, irrigation checks, and seasonal cleanup.

## A yard that stays finished between visits

Residential maintenance is a set scope of work on a regular schedule. The goal is a yard that always looks cared for, not one that swings between overgrown and freshly cut.

Most Las Vegas homes mix rock or gravel beds, desert shrubs, a few trees, and sometimes a patch of lawn, all on drip and spray irrigation. We maintain each part the way it needs and flag problems while they’re still small.

### A good fit if

- You want the yard handled without scheduling each visit
- It’s a rental or second home that needs consistent upkeep
- Your HOA has landscape standards to meet
- You just had a cleanup and want to keep it that way

## What recurring home maintenance covers

### What’s included

- Blowing and debris removal from beds, walkways, patios, and driveway
- Weed pulling in rock beds and planters
- Shrub and small hedge shaping to keep walkways and windows clear
- Mowing, edging, and trimming if the property has lawn
- A visual check of drip lines, emitters, and sprinkler heads
- Controller adjustments as the seasonal watering schedule changes

### Not included

- Pesticide, herbicide, or fertilizer application
- Larger irrigation repairs (quoted first, done with your approval)
- Tree trimming, removal, and stump grinding (quoted under [tree services](https://www.topitofflandscapingnv.com/services/tree-services/))
- Pool or pond care

Your written estimate confirms the final scope. Anything outside it is quoted first and done only with your approval.

## Home maintenance in the Las Vegas climate

- **Summer:** shrubs are shaped lightly and heavy cutting waits for cooler weather. Irrigation gets extra attention, because a failed emitter in July can cost a plant quickly.
- **Spring and fall:** the best windows for heavier pruning, bed resets, and cleanup.
- **Winter:** growth slows and watering drops to one assigned day a week under the local schedule. Frost-damaged growth is usually left in place until spring to protect the plant.

### How often will you visit?

It depends on the property and the season. Frequency is set in your written scope and can change between summer and winter.

### Do I need to be home?

### Can you work with my HOA’s landscape rules?

Yes. Share your association’s guidelines and we’ll build them into the scope.
