Two workers mowing and trimming a residential lawn

Service

Lawn Care

Mowing, edging, and trimming for the lawns Las Vegas properties still have, kept tidy and watered within the local rules.

Less lawn, better kept

Many Las Vegas yards have far less grass than they used to, and what’s left gets used: a backyard for kids and dogs, or a small front lawn. Those areas deserve regular, careful mowing.

Lawn care is usually part of a residential maintenance plan, but it can be scoped on its own.

A good fit if

  • You have a front or back lawn in regular use
  • Your yard has a lawn the kids or pets use
  • You want mowing on a schedule instead of on demand

Local conditions

Lawn care under Las Vegas watering rules

The Las Vegas Valley Water District assigns watering days by season: any day but Sunday in summer, three assigned days a week in spring and fall, and one assigned day in winter. Landscape watering between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. isn’t allowed from May 1 through August 31, and watering outside your assigned days counts as water waste.

Mowing height goes up in the heat to reduce stress on the grass, and we report broken heads or overspray onto pavement, which wastes water and can draw a water-waste fee.

Questions

Common questions

Do you edge and trim too?

Yes. Edging along walks, drives, and bed borders, plus string trimming around obstacles and fence lines, is part of every lawn visit.

How short do you cut?

It depends on the grass type and season. Cutting too short in summer stresses grass, so heights usually go up in the heat.

Is lawn care available without a full plan?

It can be scoped on its own. Most clients find it simpler to include it in a plan with bed and shrub care.
